Hey guys..sorry, i totally forgot about this blog lol..Out of sight out of mind!

Anyhow posting a few vids here, the first is a quick clip of Tony's (friend we met here and he re-dedicated his life to God) tacky sweater and a little of the rest of the gang. Had a lot of fun. Watched Elf on a big projection screen hooked up to my laptop later that night. Great food, great laughs, even better friends. Wish I could spend Christmas with you all.

Here's a clip from our worship here at FoL in Chicago. It's certainly not flawless or where we're headed, but I'm proud of the accomplishments my team has made so far. We're improving little by little and I thought you might enjoy a listen to this song.

Great News

Sam and Linz came into town today to visit for Thanksgiving. Then they surprised mom and I, bringing mom to tears with news..... they are expecting!!!! What a great surprise gift to all of us. Thanks Sam and Linz for being such great kids... We love you!!

This is some of the footage that my dad took from Caribou Coffee in Battle Creek a few months back. Linz and I had such a great time jammin' with Tyson Rude to raise money for The Haven.

Dad got a drum-filled view (sound) LOL. Flying airplanes for a living has its advantages I guess :-)

Speaking of dad, he flew into Illinois and stopped in to see us! I'll post pictures soon :-)

Ethan, The Bibbed Ninja

Just wanted to say hi. I was sitting with Ethan yesterday, and it was time to go home. So I was putting him in the car seat, which was up on the kitchen table, and he started to fuss at me. He does this when he doesn't like to be put down. So I started making the same sound back at him, and he made a face like "huh" and I told him that it wasn't going to work. He had to sit there. He looked at me and there was face that made me crack up, he then started to smile and for got what he was fussing about and stopped fussing. Smart boy at 3 months. HA HA! Takes after his dad:)

Ethan Laughing

So, since this is a family blog deal, I figured I would share a bit of family with everyone.. :) Ethan (our 3 month old) has been good about smiling when we interact with him and talk to him.. That is, when he isn't hungry and crying about everything you can just about think of.. Anyway, yesterday Patricia was changing him and doing the usual of talking to him to get him to smile and instead she got laughs out of him.. Our Place

So, as many of you know, Linz and I have moved into an apartment in Chicagoland, the Wheaton area. We've been living here since July of this year. Here's my attempt at a panoramic compilation of our living room area.


It's not quite the way I hoped the pic would come out, but oh well! the living room is very open and we love that. The panoramic gives an good impression of what it's like.

Turning the point-of-view to the right, you would see our dining room table. Notice all the work Lindsey has put into making it wonderful!



That door on the left is the entrance to our apartment from the hallway. (That hallway stinks according to Linz and her very sensitive nose.) Now, I will step up to the table, turn right and show you our kitchen!



Notice Lindsey appropriately in it and cooking - JUST KIDDING!

Hanging on the left wall is our pan rack - Linz's idea. (I hit my head on it everytime I throw something in the trash can.)

On the right, above the counter space, is the coffee station with mugs and tea and coffee beans displayed - my idea! (Note: No one hits their head here ever.)

Maybe when I've cleaned my mess and made the bed, Linz will let me show you the bedrooms :-)
